Not just a quick once-over, our annual exam is a thorough check of your pet’s most important body parts. We begin with a nose-to-tail inspection of your pet’s body, looking for differences in fur and skin condition. We also weigh and measure each pet to make sure your pet isn’t joining the millions that are overweight in this country. Our veterinarian will look inside your pet’s mouth to check for swollen gums or tongue, loose or missing teeth, or a need for teeth cleaning to prevent infection. As your pet gets older, we’ll begin to watch for arthritis and other joint problems, as well as digestive troubles and other problems older animals can develop.
