Best Friends Veterinary Hospital offers health certificates for pets. The purpose of a health certificate, also known as a certificate of veterinary inspection, is to certify that your pet is free of any diseases and up-to-date on vaccinations. A pet certification can be obtained upon an examination of your pet from one of vets at Best Friends.
In the health certificate examination, the vet will also include the age and breed of your pet. This certificate is valid for 30 days after you obtain it from your veterinarian. This document is required if you will be traveling via airline or out of the country with your animal. Sometimes a health certificate may be required when crossing a state border in your personal vehicle. Our Best Friends team would be glad to assist you certifying the health of your pet and issuing a health certificate.
