Meet Dr. Laura Taylor, an enthusiastic associate veterinarian who embarked on her journey at Best Friends Veterinary Hospital in Cookeville in August 2022. Passionate about her role, Dr. Taylor finds joy in the diversity of animals she encounters daily, relishing the opportunity to learn about each species.

Beyond the clinic, she treasures moments with her beloved pets – two Caribbean dogs, Beau and Penny, two rescue cats, Roo and Louie, and a charismatic bearded dragon named Stevie. Dr. Taylor’s interests include spending quality time with her family and friends, exploring new destinations through travel, and immersing herself in the tranquility of nature through hiking adventures.

Dr. Taylor received her veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine after earning a Bachelor of Science in Zoology with a minor in Theatre from Michigan State University. With her blend of expertise and passion, Dr. Taylor continues to make a positive impact in the lives of animals and their owners daily.
